Regularly check your pressures and look for signs of damage to side walls. Worn tires can be highly dangerous and significantly affect stopping distances. In many states, tires worn to 2/32" of tread are legally worn out and should be replace.
For wet roads, a minimum of 4/32" tread is recommended. Proper inflation to also helps maintain optimum traction.
